All you Nokia fans who desperately want a Nokia Tablet right now in their hands, your years long wait is going to end soon. According to reports coming from the Tech sites, Nokia is all set to launch a Windows 8 tablet. I can confirm you that its not a rumor, because Nokia’s design chief Marko Ahtisaar has himself confirmed with some tech magazine.
Nokia is not new to the tablet game, as it had released many Internet tablets much before Apple’s iPad and Samsung’s Galaxy tab. But the game has changed so much over the years. Nokia is no more the leading Smartphone maker. Apple is dominating the Tablet market, and Samsung with the help of Android OS is trying its best to compete with iPad.
If Nokia needs to succeed in the Tablet Market, it should follow the Amazon model, and ask Microsoft to subsidize the cost of the tablet. I would surely buy a Windows 8 Nokia tablet if its priced below $300.
